Mt. Healthy Junior High School

Congratulations to Mt. Healthy Junior High seventh grader Astrid Rodriguez who is the recipient of a $300 summer enrichment program scholarship from the Ohio Association for Gifted Children! Astrid's scholarship application, which included two letters of recommendation from teachers Mr. Joel Bartlett and Mr. Brian Hershey in addition to an essay of her own, was one of many submitted from the entire state. What an honor for her to be awarded the scholarship! Astrid, a talented artist, will attend the University of Cincinnati's DAAP (Department of Architecture, Art, and Planning) Middle School Art Camp in June!
